  <body>&lt;p&gt;Here are some of the terms used in this documentation:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;resource&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;#8211; A resource is, for most intents and purposes, a database table.  Each database table you want to link should have a corresponding &amp;#8220;resource&amp;#8221;.  In the future, resources might also include text files or other formats for linking.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;transformer&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;#8211; Transformers are methods of converting data.  If you want to convert a field in your database to another format, create new computed fields, or filter out data, you would use a transformer to do so.  Transformers are useful when converting fields that you later want to use to link resources together.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;scenario&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;#8211; Linkage scenarios are the glue of Coupler.  Each scenario contains instructions on which resources to match and how to match them&lt;/li&gt;
