Sproutcore is regularly updated with many people contributing code. You can too.

Updating Sproutcore on Your Computer

Assuming that you have previously installed Sproutcore, updating is very simple. In mac terminal type in the following and for windows type in the following but without the sudo.

sudo gem update sproutcore --include-dependencies

and you should see something like this (note: x replaced by latest version number)

Bulk updating Gem source index for: http://gems.rubyforge.o
Attempting remote update of sproutcore
Successfully installed sproutcore-0.9.x
Installing ri documentation for sproutcore-0.9.x...
Installing RDoc documentation for sproutcore-0.9.x..
Gems: [sproutcore] updated

You may see other gems updated as well depending on your set up and the requirements of the latest Sproutcore release.
