- Make a final commit before release.
- Update VERSION file.
- Update CHANGELOG.markdown (use git log PREVTAG..HEAD to get list of changes between releases)
- Make commit message: “Release x.y.z”
- Tag release: “x.y.z”
- Push to GitHub.
- Build deb package and upload to GitHub.
- Make post on blog.beonebody.com
- Post message to Twitter account
