If you want to interact with the display, you can point a second <span class="caps">VNC</span> viewer at the same server. You&#8217;ll want something like the <em>AlwaysShared</em> option used above, or the &#8216;share&#8217; option on most <span class="caps">VNC</span> viewers, to override the default that a new <span class="caps">VNC</span> connection replaces any existing ones. Alternatively, you can use my <a href="http://www.ndiyo.org/software/ev2vnc">ev2vnc</a> utility to send keyboard and mouse events from <span class="caps">USB</span> devices to the session.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Many of the options for a standard <span class="caps">VNC</span> viewer are in the code, but I replaced the X-based command handling with getopt and haven&#8217;t tested things much yet!</li> </ul> <ul> <li>It only does very basic raw, <span class="caps">RRE</span> and CopyRect encodings. If you&#8217;re planning to connect to a distant server or over a slow link, you may want to implement Hextile or one of the others.
