Macros

PowerDNS on Rails supports “macros”, a handy set of pre-programmed actions that you can apply to any domain. Macros have the ability to

• Create new records, without clobbering existing records
• Update existing records
• Remove records (by name and by record type)
• Update records, creating them if they don’t exist.
