Strano is a set of tools that help you setup and manage SliceHost servers running Debian 5.0 (Lenny). Once you have a Strano-configured server up and running you can easily deploy your Ruby on Rails or Rack applications.

What you Get

• A fully-functional, up-to-date, and well-configured server running the latest versions of Nginx, Ruby Enterprise Edition, and Phusion Passenger.
• A secure deployment method which utilizes a centralized AES encrypted Variables YAML file to ensure that you are never required to store your passwords or other sensitive company information locally in plain text. The master password must be entered in order to execute any Capistrano task.
