Getting the source

You have two options for retrieving the source.

1. Download a tarball. However this doesn’t get you a copy of the repository, so tracking your changes and generating patches will be trickier.
2. Clone the repository. You’ll need git for your operating system (it’s included with most Linux distributions, and GitHub provides guides on how to get it on Windows and Mac), then just type the following at a command prompt:

  git clone git://github.com/bard/sameplace.git
