Yes, if you’re at least taking a look at this page, a thank-you is in order. A little testing can spare users a lot of trouble, and it’s as valuable to a project as good development. Few realize that.

How to test

• Install the development packages from the download page
• Keep up to date with news through the mailing list, the blog and twitter. (Each of these channels is available both as a feed and via email, so you can aggregate them conveniently.)
• When you find an issue, report it on the bug tracker
• Try to reproduce some of the bugs marked as NEW and, if successful, mark them as CONFIRMED
• Run a few tests from the test sets (see next section) and report results on the wiki page.
