I edited sphinx to allow for mysql ssl connections: http://github.com/agibralter/sphinx/commits/master
Since the sphinx config file now supports these keys :
sql_sslkey = /path/to/client-key.pem
sql_sslcert = /path/to/client-cert.pem
sql_sslca = /path/to/ca-cert.pem,
I have to fork thinking-sphinx to incorporate these changes.
