These Rails sites use Fleximage. Please add your sites to this list with a brief description of your usage.

Alex Wayne

TheWineSpies.com
TheWineSpes uses Fleximage for all wine photos. It even adds little thing like scotch tape and a paperclip to make it work with their home page dossier. There is a really elaborate template here that renders all the details for todays wine in a single easily sharable image.

FleursFrance.com
A website I did for a local florist. The galleries are all Fleximage. She has lots of pictures of her work, but they are mostly taken by other photographers. This meant that each images needed to be able to handle a different copyright images. So the photo model has a copyright field that can be any bit of text. This gets written to the image, on top of a slight dark shadow for readability. Its a good example of how you can use information from your database in your rendered images.

NorahBurrows.com
A site for a brilliant photographer. She wanted to be able to not have size all her gallery photos just right so Fleximage made it easy for her.

National Event Company

NECO.com uses flex image for all dynamic images. It has made management for our site a breeze for our marketing team. All featured images on the home page, performer images, venue images, etc are all done through flex image.

Mike ‘MacDigger’ Kornienko

Maidsalon Hermes

Tomu portal

We create a world of love and integrity, one man at a time, from the inside out.

We use Fleximage to display pictures from our training weekends on our site. It makes the image handling much easier than any thing else we have found. Thanks for this great work.

Big.first.name

Big.first.name uses fleximage not only for dynamically resizing images on the website but also for use in PDF documents of custom name tag designs.

Fun Tourist Attractions

Fun Tourist Attractions is a new Rails-based site that showcases the top tourist attractions around the world. Fleximage is used for handling member profile pictures.

Roadie Rage, Inc.

roadierage.com is an up and coming site that will be providing useful services for musicians and music lovers. The UI was done in Flex and the server side is Ruby on Rails. Beta testing for release one is happening through August, 2008 so you’re welcome to check it out using the password “beta”. Fleximage currently handles all artist profile photos and album photos.

Symbolika

symbolika.com is a visionary-psychedelic online gallery & shop. all the images in the shop are made from layers of the product elements (i.e. shirt, design, logo), allowing us to dynamically add or change new products, without the need to photograph everything again.
for that we used fleximage, which allowed us to keep the originals and re-process them when necessary. thanks ;)
